Microblading is semi-permanent tattooing, which uses nine tiny blades (microblades) to deposit pigment under the skin of your eyebrows. It provides definition, enhances fullness and can be used to alter the shape of your brows.

Microblading uses a specifically designed tool, which bleeds pigment into the small scratches on the epidermis to create fine lines mimicking strokes of hair. The overall look is natural and realistic.

Prior to using the blades, our technician will draw and fill in your brows to determine your desired look using the golden ratio.

The success of the treatment depends on:

  • Skin quality
  • Post-treatment routine and care
  • Exposure to different external factors

All of these factors are out of the practitioners control, so any possibility to provide guarantees for the treatment is excluded.

You will always have a consultation prior to your treatment in order to take a patch test and review of medical health questionnaire. During the consultation we will discuss what to expect.

This is also a good opportunity to get familiar with the post-treatment routine thoroughly before the treatment.

Does it hurt?

We won't lie to you, it’s not totally pain-free, but it’s also not unbearable. It’s pretty much how you’d imagine small blades to feel on your brows – a bit scratchy. It’s over pretty quickly and once you see your new brows you’ll forget all about the pain!

Will I need a top up?

About 4-6 weeks after your first treatment, you’ll need a follow up appointment to top up the pigment and to make any small adjustments to the shape or fullness.

How long does it last?

Depending on how thick/full you want your eyebrows to look and how well you stick to the suggested aftercare guidelines, microblading can last between one to three years.

Colour boost's may be required within 8-12 months.

What is to be done the first day of treatment:

30 Minutes after the treatment rinse the eyebrows with neutral soap (children's). This removes all the lymph and previously applied cream. Once rinsed, apply a thin layer of Beaut Brows Skin Candy (this will be given to you after your first appointment).

Repeat this procedure 3-5 times that same day.

In the next 7 days, maintain facial hygiene and apply Beaut Brows Skin Candy after washing your face. Beaut Brows Skin Candy can be used on all skin types due to its natural active components that regulate oiling.

What is to be avoided in the next 7 days:

During the first 7 days avoid face creams on to the eyebrows (apart from Beaut brows Skin Candy). Avoid foundation on the eyebrows. Avoid workouts which involve a lot of sweating, sauna, facial massage and steaming.

What is to be avoided in the next 30 days:

Sunbathing, sun beds, light therapies, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, fruit acid, creams that contain regeneration factors. Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area (IPL). This can destroy the pigment and cause burns.

Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to pigment fading faster.

Always protect the eyebrows from the sun using SPF's (not during the first 7 days).
